Position: Sr. Accountant Consultant

Schedule: M-F, Full-time, Hybrid

Location: Columbus, OH

Compensation: $80,000-$90,000

NOW CFO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant Consultant to join our Columbus, OH team. The Senior Accountant Consultant will be responsible for providing accounting expertise and support to businesses, assisting with financial reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end close processes. Seeking Senior Accountants with a variety of experience in multiple industries.

We value candidates with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should excel in general accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with month-end close and account reconciliations. Ultimately, you’ll help ensure compliance with accounting regulations and support strong financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Troubleshoot and problem solve for accounting functions
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team

Qualifications:

• Strong Excel
• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• BS Accounting or Finance
